Becky Strong, BS, RN

International Pemphigus & Pemphigoid Foundation, Outreach Director

Becky Strong, a patient with pemphigus vulgaris, will share her emotional diagnosis journey. This deeply moving and educational presentation shines a light on the average pemphigus and pemphigoid patient experience of delayed diagnosis. For Becky, this included 17 months, 6 physicians, multiple encounters with her dentist, and several rounds of incorrect treatments. Becky hopes her story will shorten diagnosis times for future patients. Becky is the Outreach Director for the IPPF and a registered nurse living in Michigan with her husband Tim and 2 young children.
